Write Yourself a Love Letter

The other morning I was writing my Morning Pages working through an issue that had been bothering me for quite sometime. As I was writing, I got the notion to write myself a forgiveness letter. But then something interesting happened. When I put pen to paper and I found myself writing:
    Dear Deborah,
    This is a letter of love. This is a love letter...

How strikingly beautiful this letter was. As I was writing, there were so many words of love and comfort, things I have never said to myself before. And yet my Self was so grateful to hear these gentle, soft words that caressed by soul. 
I encourage you to write a love letter to yourself. Allow the thoughts to come freely and unabashedly. Don't be shy. Be in love - with yourself. What a gift!!!
You may find one or two paragraphs work for you or you might write 10 or 15 pages. Who knows? I wrote a couple of pages. I do know one thing though and that is there is a part of you who has been waiting to hear your loving words - words that only you can write.
Give it a go - write yourself a love letter and feel the joy that lives within you.
