Your Greatest Gift

The winter solstice marks the coming of longer periods of light and shorter periods of darkness. This can be a metaphor for our personal and collective journey into the light, the light of love that lives within each of us; that which is seeking to be known, to become conscious, and allowed to shine outward.
Perhaps that is our greatest gift - allowing the love that lives within us to shine.
People say, "I want to find my life's purpose." What if your life's purpose is simply to become conscious of the unconditional light of love within you and to share it.
There's nothing outside of you that can offer you more than what you already have inside. Sometimes we seek love from another or from outside sources, from our spouse, or our children. I believe what we're truly seeking is the love that lives right inside our own beating heart.
Let the additional light that shines each day be a reminder of the growing light within you and then let it shine! That is your greatest gift. Thank you!
