What Would Venus Say?

In the softness of your heart
Venus
Her loving embrace
Invites an opening
An awakening of your truth
 
Who are you
When Venus expresses herself through you

Do you see your value
Are you true to your feelings
 
Or do you
In wanting calm more than joy
Hold her at bay
Sending her away
So you can make do

She’s beckoning you to shed the fear
The aloneness
The false calm
 
Venus
The morning star
The evening star
The light that reveals love of self and others
The maiden
The wise one
 
Ask her to show you
How can I claim my truth
 
She will tell you
Open your heart
To yourself
To love
Be brave
Allow the sadness to speak
Let it tell you what you don’t want to hear
 
This is self-care
Compassion
Unconditional love
 
Venus shows us the way of the heart
