Deborah Cort | Divinely Nourishing Writing

I was in my late fifties when I learned I wasn't broken. I was in my sixties when I learned that writing could help me explore my wholeness.

Through writing, I learned that while I was trying to control my environment through perfectionism, I was really trying to restore wholeness. Writing helped me reveal my inner critic and how I had been working against myself.

I’ve been on a writing journey ever since to discover who I am and who I want to be.

It seems that life is our greatest teacher, giving each of us our own unique opportunities for growth. Through writing, I have been shown how my life’s experiences, that have taken me to the depths of struggle and despair, have been fertilizer with which to create a greener pasture.

As a student of spiritual transformation and the human journey, I am certified in Spiritual Mentoring, Eating Psychology - Mind Body Nutrition, Integrative Nutrition, and as a Gateless Writing Teacher. I'm an ordained Interfaith Minister, Reiki Master practitioner, and SoulCollage® facilitator, as well as being trained in Astrology and Conscious Relationships. Currently, I’m enrolled in Vermont College's MFA in Writing program.
 
My journey is not complete, far from it. But I do believe in this lifetime, I have been invited to serve as a guide as we each move along our path toward an abundant, empowering and nourishing relationship with life. I’ll call upon my beautiful blend of experiences and divine guidance to provide you with a rich environment to safely explore your writing and nurture yourself in body, mind, and spirit.

There is nothing to fix because we're not broken. No matter how long you've been in struggle, it's time to remember your truth - your inner wisdom - and live into it. And that’s what writing can do for you.


It's my heart's desire to be of service, to provide opportunities for you as a writer to explore your divinely nourishing relationship with yourself, your body, and with life.
